Process
Mental health copywriting by someone who also works in mental health. I understand your target audience and will write engaging and impactful words they'll want to read.
Meet and Greet
Yay to you finding me and getting in touch. Let's collaborate and make your voice heard in the mental health space. To kick off our collaboration, we can schedule a friendly Zoom meet-up.
I'll ask you about the specifics of your project. We'll discuss the type of work you need, whether you already have some content, and if you have a target word count in mind.
I know how important client confidentiality is in this space and I am fully committed to upholding that.
Once we've covered the project details, I'll put together a tailor-made proposal for you. This document will include a comprehensive breakdown of the project scope, pricing, the number of revision rounds, proofreading, research, and any additional meetings required.
For payment, I follow the Australian standard approach. I kindly request a 50% upfront payment. However, if the total project value falls below $250, I'll ask for 100% upfront payment.
Proposal and the Quote
Turnaround Time
I am all about meeting your deadlines (it’s the organised nerd in me). The turnaround times for your project will depend on factors such as the amount of material you provide, approval times, and the volume of content I'm creating. We can work on this together and I’ll add it to the proposal.
Briefing
Our deep dive into your project begins here. We'll have an in-depth discussion covering various aspects, including:
· your target audience
· your brand's voice,
· the tone of the copy
· values, mission, and vision
· and your marketing and business objectives.
This will include a competitor analysis where I review their messaging and positioning and find opportunities to make you dazzle and shine.
We'll have this conversation over the phone, and I'll send you a creative brief document beforehand. You don't need to fill it out prior to our discussion; we can go through it together during our call. It’s a super important part of the phase for me to understand your business’s voice and goals so don’t be shy about letting me know the nitty-gritty of what you’re all about.
Off to Write I Go
Now that my detective work is complete and I know all about your business, I can get started. I’ll communicate with you via email and send any queries this way. I don’t anticipate that you’ll need any extra meetings but if you feel that you will, let me know and I’ll factor that into the overall cost.
Time for the Review
Now it's time to review the drafts. We'll collaborate to determine the amount of time you'll need for this phase. Reviewing can be a detailed process, so it's crucial that we both allocate dedicated time for it.
Final Payment
Upon the successful completion of your project, I'll send you the final invoice for the remaining amount. My payment terms require a seven-day window for payment.
You’re All Set!
With your copy complete, I send it off to you, and it’s ready to hit the spotlight of your mental health service. I’ll include suggestions for the presentation of the copy, but of course, you’re free to make changes.
I truly value your feedback after the project sign-off and may request a testimonial for my website.
I’ll also keep an eye on how your copy performs. If any tweaks or adjustments are needed to maintain a strong connection with your audience, I'm here to make them ASAP.
